A rectangular pyramid has a volume of 210 cubic centimeters. Find two possible sets of measurements for the base area and height of the pyramid.

    To find 2 possible sets of dimensions you will use the formula for finding the volume of a prism.

    V = 1/3Bh, where B is the area of the base.

    210 = 1/3Bh

    630 = Bh; this means the area of the B time the height must equal 630

    Find 3 factors that will give you 630.

    Ex #1: 10 cm (length) x 6 cm (width) x 9 cm (height)

    Ex #2: 5 cm (length) x 9 cm (width) x 14 cm (height)
