    X^2 + 3xy - 28y^2

What are the factors of 28 that subtract to give you 3?

    1 * 28, 2*14, 4*7, 7*4, 14*2, 28*1

    1-28 = - 27

    2-14 = - 12

    4 - 7 = - 3

    7 - 4 = 3

    14 - 2 = 12

    28 - 1 = 27

    (x + 7y) (x - 4y)
