    Y=mx+b, m=slope, b=y intercept

    a line that is paralell will have the same slope with a different y intercept

    y=4x-10

    therefor the new equation is y=4x+b

    subsitute

    (x, y)

    (5,-6)

    x=5

    y=-6

    is on e solution so subsitue

    -6=4 (5) + b

    -6=20+b

    subtract 20

    -26=b

    the equation si y=4x-26
