A store owner buyso backpacks at a certain price and sells them at a higher price. The difference is called the markup. If she pays 21$ for a backpack and adds a 40% markup on the price she paid, what is the selling price?

    The selling price would be $29.40

    (21*1.40)

    Your answer would be $29.40 because 21*0.4=8.4 so you add 21+8.4=29.4 (your answer)
