In a group of 10 people, 7 people speak English, 4 speak French, and two speak neither of the two languages. How many people speak both languages?

    If 2 people speak neither of the languages, that means 8 people speak

    "a language" and there is 7 + 4 = 11 people who speak either English or Frensh, so 11 - 8 = 3

    3 people speak both languages
