A certain drug leaves the bloodstream at a rate of 22% per hour. If you are given an initial dose of 20 mg, how long until there are 10 mg in your bloodstreams?

    You want to turn that 22% into a 50% since its half ...

    I take 50 and divide it by 22, and get 2.27 ...

    so then multiply 0.27 by 60 minutes

    get about maybe 2 hours and 16 minutes ...
