Jose' has a circular rug on the floor of his bedroom. If the area of the rug is 16π square feet, what is the diameter of the rug?

    Area of a circle is πr^2

    so

    16π = πr^2

    the π's in both sides cancel out as it is a constant.

    so it's

    16 = r^2

    r = √16

    r = 4

    so if radius so 4 then diameter is 8

    because Radius is half the diameter.
