There are 32 peanuts in a bag. Elliott takes 25 percent of the peanuts from the bag. then zaire takes 50 percent of the remaining peanuts. how many peanuts are left in the bag?

    1) we calculate the number of peanuts in the bag after Elliott take 25% of the peanuts form th bag.

    number of peanuts in the bag after elliot take 25%=32 - (25/100) 32=32-8=24.

    2) we calculate the number of peanuts in the bag after Zaire takes 50% of the remaining peanuts.

    number of peanuts in the bag after Zaire takes 50%=24 - (50/100) 24=24-12=

    =12

    Answer: 12 peanust are left in the bag.
