How do you solve

x = y + 7

x=9 - y

    Since x = y+7

    So you just blog in x in the second equation

    Y+7 = 9-y

    By adding y to each side

    2y+7=9

    Then subtract 7 from each side

    2y=2

    Divide each side by 2

    Y=1

    Then blog in Y in the first equation

    X=y+7

    X = 1+7=8
