The prism has a surface area of 1312 mm2.

What would the surface area of the prism be if each dimension were halved?

    Surface Area = 2 (lw + lh + wh)

    Divide each dimension by half, and then plug it in to the formula.

    32/2 = 18

    10/2 = 5

    8/2 = 4

    Surface Area = 2 ((4) (5) + (4) (18) + (5) (18))

    SA = 2 (20 + 72 + 90)

    SA = 2 (182)

    SA = 364

    The surface area if each dimension was halved would be 364 mm^2.
