Are the lines y=-x-2 and 4x+4y=16 perpendicular? Explain

    No, because because 4x+4y=16 is equal to y=-x+2 making the two lines have the same slope of - 1 which makes them parallel but not Perpendicular.

    Two lines are perpendicular if their slopes product is - 1.

    -1*-1=1 it is not - 1.
