    Expression for circumference of circle:

    S = 2 π r or S = π d

    π = 3.14 r = radius d = diameter = 2r

    Circumference S = 2 * π * r = 2 * 3.14 * 3 m = 18.84 meters

    From the problem statement:

    d = 2r

    r = 3m

    n = 3.14 ≈ π

    Answer:

    Since the circumference of a circle is:

    C = 2πr

    Just substitute some of the variables for ones that have been defined in the problem statement:

    C = 2 (n) (3m)

    C = 6nm
