Find the value of z such that 0.9544 of the area lies between - z and z. Round your answer to two decimal places.

    z is the variable in a normal distribution Z

    total area under Z = 1

    so if 0.9544 of the area lies between - z and z

    area lie above z = area lie below z = (1-0.9544) / 2 = 0.0456/2 = 0.0228

    from normal distribution table look-up, z = 2.00
