Using the common denominator method:
1/4 + 13/20
1/4 = 5/20
5/20 + 13/20 = 18/20
18/20 = 9/10
Using the decimal method:
1/4 = 0.25
13/20 = 0.65
0.25+0.65 = 0.9
0.9 = 9/10
The answer is 9/10 or in percents 90%
