The Median is the 'middle value' in your list.

When the totals of the list are odd, the median is the middle entry in the list after sorting the list into increasing order.

When the totals of the list are even, the median is equal to the sum of the two middle (after sorting the list into increasing order) numbers divided by two.

In this case, the total values in the list is odd (7).

    100, 110, 120, 125, 140, 150, 160

    Hence, the median is 125.

All you have to do is find put them in order from least to greatest (which you already did.) Then you will cross on from each end every time.

This is the order in which you cross the numbers out ...

    100, 160, 110, 150, 120, and 140.

Then once you cross those numbers off the last number that you are left with will be your answer.

    The answer is ...

    Median: 125
