I was provided with 2 similar triangles, the side lengths of the full triangle was 12,14 and 20. The second triangle was given with side lengths of 18, 21 and I have to figure out x which would be the longest side in the second triangle.

    Answer:First you have to know which sideS mach. Put the longest side of the first triangle over X (which is the longest side of the second triangle), then equals to any side of the first triangle over the equivalent side of the second triangle, for example 20/x = 12/18. And after that you can multiply in X form. 12x = 360

    X=30
