Given the function f (x) = x 2 - 2x, find f (-1) and f (1). Based on your answers, determine if the function is even. Explain your reasoning.

    So, when looking for a f (any #) plug said # in for the variable, and solve. Using f (-1) as an example; f (-1) = (-1) ^2-2 (-1) is equal to 3, f (1) = (1) ^2-2 (1) is equal to - 1
