    Begin by subtracting 2500. 22600-2500=20100. Multiply 2500 by. 4. 2500*.4=1000

    Now, multilply the other number we found by. 6. 20100*.6=12060. Add the two numbers, and the original 500 for Jason's gross pay for the month.
