    The answer to your question is

    Volume of solution 2% = 37.5ml

    Volume of solution 8% = 37.5ml

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Data

    Solution A = 2% Volume A = ?

    Solution B = 8% Volume B = ?

    Final solution = 5% Final volume = 75 ml

    Process

    Write an equation of this experiment

    2% (Volume A) + 8% (Volume B) = 5% (75)

    Volume A = x

    Volume B = 75 - x

    Substitution

    2% (x) + 8% (75 - x) = 375

    Simplification

    2x + 600 - 8x = 375

    2x - 8x = 375 - 600

    -6x = - 225

    x = - 225/-6

    x = 37.5

    Result

    Volume A = 37.5 ml

    Volume B = 75 - 37.5 = 37.5 ml
