When asked to factor the trinomial 4x^2+20x+25, a student gives the answer (2x-5) (2x-5). What is one thing wrong with this answer?

    The minus signs should be plus signs

    When factored out you would get 4x^2-20x+25 you don't want a - 20x you want a + 20x so you would want (2x+5) (2x+5) instead
