Explain how 7/12 is greater than 1/3 but less than 2/3

    Multiply 1/3 by 4/4 (anything besides zero over itself is equal to 1) to get 4/12.

    Multiply 2/3 by 4/4 to get 8/12.

    7/12 is greater than 3/12 but less than 8/12.
