A 50-foot ladder leans against a wall, as shown in the figure below. If the base of the ladder is 30 feet away from the wall, how tall is the wall?

    50^2 + 30^2 = x^2

    2500 + 900 = x^2

    3400 = x^2

    x = sqrt (3400)

    x = 58.31

    height is 58.31 feet (round answer as needed)
