How can you use an equation to make a prediction from a pattern

    If the pattern were 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, and so on, your equation is x+2. Since you are adding two each time. Another example is 10, 14, 18, 22, 26. Your equation would be x (or any variable) + 4.
