    Factor to find the roots.

    (x+5) (x-1) = 0

    Proof:

    5-1=4

    5*-1=-5

    Then apply the Zero Product Property.

    (x+5) = 0

    x=-5

    (x-1) = 0

    x=1

    Roots: x=-5, x=1
