    This can be solved by establishing a system of equation, since

    W = L - 3

    And the perimeter is

    2w + 2L = 70

    Substituting the w in the second equation

    2 (L-3) + 2L = 70

    4L = 70 + 6

    4L = 76

    L = 19 ft

    W = 16 ft
