Brahminism originated from the Aryan religion. The Aryans designated a few priests as Brahmans who were responsible for the correct execution of religious rituals. Early hinduism originated after the Aryan religion mixed with those already existent in the Indus Valley. The common beliefs between Hinduism and Brahminism include the belief of an afterlife, reincarnation and division of the society into sects or classes.
