    Length - 70

    Width - 30

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let the width be x

    Length is 40 more than width which makes length = x + 40

    Perimeter = 2L + 2W

    2 (x + 40) + 2 (x)

    Open brackets

    2x + 80 + 2x = 4x + 80

    Perimeter = 200

    200 = 4x + 80

    4x = 200 - 80

    4x = 120

    x = 120/4

    x = 30

    Width = 30

    Length = x + 40 = 70
