Let f be the function given by f (x) = 2cosx+1. what is the approximation for f (1.5)

    f (x) = 2 cos x + 1

    Note: The values of x should be given in radians.

    Therefore;

    Substituting for x = 1.5 radians

    f (1.5) = 2 Cos 1.5 + 1 ≈ 1.1415
