A high-speed elevator can rise 480 feet in 30 seconds. Which expression represents the rate, in feet per minute, of the elevator?

    you're supposed to give us the choices too, not just the

    question.

    (480 ft) / (30 sec) x (60 sec/min) = 960 ft/min.

    30*2=60

    Now do:

    480*2 = 960

    480 (2) is the expression

    Answer = 960 ft
