    x²-x-2=0

    x-2=0 Find x

    x+1=0

    x=2,-1

    Plug x value (s) into the original equation

    x²-x-2=y

    (2) ²-2-2=y

    y=0 (2,0)

    (-1) ² - (-1) - 2=y
