Colored beads: Green Purple Pink

Number of times drawn: 18 26 6

Molly has a bag filled with 3 colored beads green, purple, and pink. Molly randomly pulls out of the bag, records the color, and places the bead back into the bag. She repeats this 50 times and records the results in the table above.

What is the experimental probability the Molly will pull out the purple bead?

    You would divide if she pulled out the purple 18 times then it is

    18/50 = 0.36 or 36%

    26/50 = 0.52 or 52%

    6/50 = 0.12 or 12%
