3x10=30 6+5=11 30+11=41 the value of your coins would be 41 cents

    A dime is 10 cents

    a penny is 1 cent

    a nickel is 5 cents

if you have 3 dimes, then you have 10 cents + 10 cents + 10 cents,

an easier way to write this is 3 x 10 cents which equals 30 cents

then, add 1 penny which is 1 x 6 which equals 6, so now you have 36 cents

then, add your one nickel which is 1 x 5 which equals 5, then add that to your total to get 41 cents
