    A=lw

    w=a/l

    w = (17 23/32) / (3 3/8) convert to improper fractions a b/c = (ac+b) / c

    w = (567/32) / (27/8) ... (a/b) / (c/d) = (a/b) * (d/c)

    w = (567/32) * (8/27)

    w=567/108

    w=5 1/4 ft

    w=5.25 ft

    (w=5'3")

    The width should be 5 1/4 = 5.25 & 3 3/8 = 3.375 so 5.25x3.375=17.71875 which is 17 23/32
