X will stand for the # of miles

    f (x) = 175 +.10x

    f (x) = 220 +.05x

when x = 900 (900 miles) the rental costs will be the same.

    f (x) = 175 +.10 (900) = 265

    f (x) = 220 +.05 (900) = 265
