    3y + 3x = 24

    6y+3x = 39

    subtract first equation from second

    6y-3y+3x-3x=39-24

    3y=15

    y=5

    put this value in first equation 3y+3x=24

    3*5+3x=24

    15+3x=24

    3x=9

    x=3

    Answer: (3; 5)
