Which operation can you use to solve the equation 2/9x = 12?

    You COULD use division for this problem but you would have to divide by 2/9 on both sides to get x by itself, since this is not an answer option then we can Goto multiplication.

    If you were to multiply a number by it's reciprocal then you would get 1. Therefore if you multiply 2/9 by 9/2 you would then get 18/18 which is equal to 1. You then add back you x and it would be 1x or just x. You then would multiply the same on the other side of the equation and get your answer.
