I have a one-half gallon container of lemonade and want to divide it into one cup servings. A cup is one sixteenth of a gallon. How many cups would I need?

    To get the answer, we need to divide our ½ gallon by 1/16

    => Thus ½ divided by 1/16

    => the answer is 8 cups,

    You need 8 cups to be able to transfer the one half gallon lemonade to each cups.

    So the answer is c. 8

    because 16 / 2 = 8
