Jerry wanted to build a new house, but he wanted it to be better insulated than his existing house. So, he got 12x12 inch samples of four different insulations. In four identical containers he put 1,000mL of water, put the lids on the containers and covered them. He let the containers sit until the temperature was equal. He wrapped each container with a different insulation. He placed the containers out in the sun for two hours. At the end of the two hours, he recorded the temperature of each container.
