Cece has 6 gallons of gas in her car. She needs to drive 17 miles to the post office, 6 miles to the bank, 5 miles to the grocery store, 9 miles to the car wash, and 17 miles back home. Her car gets 10 miles per gallon. Will Cece have enough gas to do all her errands and go back home? If she needs to stop, after which stop will she need to get gas?

    She has 6 gallons ... her car gets 10 miles per gallon ... so on 6 gallons, her car can go 60 miles.

    she has to drive : 17 + 6 + 5 + 9 + 17 = 54 miles

    so yes, her car has enough gas for all her errands

    She would not have to stop because she has 6 gallons of gas and 10 miles of gas per gallon in this promblem she travels 54 miles total. She will not need to stop to get gas.
