You can put it in a proportion. Since 7.2 is the whole, put 100 under it. We do not know what percent of 7.2 is 6.3, so we can represent the percentage with x:
7.2/100 = 6.3/x
Cross multiply
7.2x = 630
x = 87.5
The answer is 87.5%
