Alicia and jeremy weigh a cell phone on a digital scale. They forget to record the unit. Which unit of measurement is correct, grams or kg? How do you know?

    If the scale reads a number less than ' 1 ', then the unit is most likely kg.

    If the scale reads a number more than ' 1 ', then the unit is most likely grams.

    Since you neglected to tell us the reading on the digital scale, I have to

    base my speculation on my experience with cell phones.

    Grams.

    Hardly any cell phone weighs a kilogram. Grams would be the most accurate.
