The perimeter of a rectangular painting is 374 centimeters. If the length of the painting is 99 centimeters, what is its width?

    The width is 88cm, this is because there are four sides. If one is 99, another is 99. That makes a total of 198cm. But there are 374 in total, 374-188=176, and half of 176 (because there are two more sides) is 88.
