X=-8-3y and x = (23+3y) / 4

Since the solution has y=y and x=x we can say:

-8-3y = (23+3y) / 4

-32-12y=23+3y

-32-15y=23

-15y=55

y=-11/3, and since x=-8-3y, x=-8+11=3

so the solution is:

(3, - 11/3)
