    Danica has laid out floor tiles so they form a rectangle with a perimeter of 18 inches. what us the diffrence between the greatest and least possible areas - 1131698. the greatest is 4 by 5 that is a area of 20 square inches. The difference is 12.

    Technically you would have to divide 18 in half which is 9 so 9 is your possible answer.
