Sue bought ten items at an average price of $3.60. The cost of eight of the items totaled $30. If the other two items were the same price, what was the price she paid for each?1) $15, 2) $7.50, 3) $6, 4) $3, 5) $1.50I guess the answer is $7.50. What is yr answer?

    The answer is 4.) $3 each

    She bought 8 items at $30 so those cost $3.75 each

    8*$3.75=$30

    then add $6 + 30 = $36

    $36/10 = $3.60 for average cost of each item

    so the other 2 items cost $3 each

    Total price of the 10 items = $3.6x10=$36

    The cost of the other two items=$36-$30=$6

    The cost of each of the two = $6/2 (because they are the same price)
