A ladder is resting against a wall. The ladder and the ground make an angle of 67° and the ladder is 10 ft from the wall. How long is the ladder?

    The ladder is about 25.6 ft

    Using x for the length of the ladder, draw it as a right triangle.

    10/x = cos 67

    10/x = 10/cos67

    cos 67 is about 0.391

    10/.391 is approximately 25.57
