    First we need to calculate the length of the base of the triangle.

    So now that we know that the area of a triangle can be calculated by the formular A = hb/2, we can also calculate the length of the base as following:

    A = hb/2

    => 270 = 15b/2

    => 15b = 270. 2

    => 15b = 540

    => b = 540/15 = 36 (m)

    Now we have the lengths of the shorter and the longer legs of the right triangle, we can use Pythagorean theorem to calculate the length of the hypotenuse: √ (15² + 36²) = √ (225 + 1296) = √1521 = 39 (m)
