A skateboard ramp is 3.5 feet high and 6 feet long along the horizontal. To the nearest degree, what is the measure of the angle that the ramp makes with a horizontal line?

    Step-by-step explanation: tan (x) = 3.5 / 6

    Tan (3.5 / 6) = x

    As this is triangular height and floor length we multiply and divide by 2 (representing halving the square)

    = 3.5 x 6 = 19 19/2 = 9.5ft

    To thereafter measure the angle we can see 9.5/3.5 = 2.711

    so we have 90, 27 and 63 degree.

    As this is decimal we round up to 30 degree. and round down to 60 degree.
