    (x - 3) (2x^2 - 5x + 1)

    = 2x^3 - 5x^2 + x - 6x^2 + 15x - 3

    = 2x^3 - 11x^2 + 16x - 3

    answer is C. third option

    2x^3 - 11x^2 + 16x - 3

You need to space them out a little more ... Pretty confusing ...

    (x - 3) (2x2 - 5x + 1) I understand that this is what you want solved ... Then your answer will be 2 * 3 - 11 * 2 + 16x - 3
