Owners of a recreation area are filling a small pond with water. They are adding water at a rate of 30 liters per minute. There are 600 liters in the pond to start. Let W represent the amount of water in the pond (in liters), and let T represent the number of minutes that water has been added.     W=600/30t the total minutes it would take for the pond to completely fill to 600 liters is 20 minutes because 600 divided by 30 equals 20, so thus making it 20 minutes to fill completely up to 600 liters.
